Illuminating a Dream

Battles have been lost and won using the advantage of light or the lack of it. With the power to illuminate or obscure and enlighten or bewilder light as a medium has for all of eternity been quaintly mystifying. It has the capacity to guide the believers and strike fear into the hearts of the non-believers, give flight to an imagination and strangely enough influence our thoughts and dreams. I am completely awe-struck by the sheer magnitude of an element called light. Through its shadows it lays out varied perspectives and in my limited understanding I hope to one day understand ..light.

A Story Within

What astounds me most is the fact that amongst an ocean of people around us, there lies a string of infinite stories. Some to be told, while others to be forgotten. In my quest to understand life as it exists and in all its complex totality I am yet to understand what is the one element that allows a story to live forever. Maybe to be sung as a ballad, maybe to be whispered as a secret, maybe to be written in verses ..or maybe to be captured as a photograph.

A resolve to understand what being here is all about is at the core of my day to day happenings.

I have always believed that achieving greatness was never a problem, the only hinderance is achieving some sort of a focus.
